Postage, Packaging and Shipping Insurance:

Which Courier Service Do You Use?

We use Royal Mail.

Yes, all items will arrive in blank, tamper-proof packaging. There will be no indication as to the content of the package.
Yes, orders placed before 16:00 will be shipped the same day. Your order will arrive the next day providing you’ve chosen either of the following postage tariffs:
  • Special delivery 9am guaranteed
  • Special delivery 1pm guaranteed

Meds for Less shipping insurance is an optional add-on at checkout offering enhanced protection against delivery issues. Medications cannot be returned, reused or resold. Without shipping insurance, Meds for Less accept no liability for items lost or delayed in the post or items returned to us.
However, with Meds for Less shipping insurance enhanced protection is provided. A replacement or refund will be provided to in the event of items being lost or delayed in the post or items returned (in unused condition).

Cold-chain items will be shipped with an ice pack / cool pack and will only be shipped via special delivery 9am guaranteed or special delivery 1pm guaranteed services.

Yes, if your order has yet been dispatched you can change the shipping address by either reaching out to [email protected] or changing it directly on your account dashboard.
If your order has already left the pharmacy, it is unfortunately not possible to change the shipping address.

This is not a service we currently offer.
If your order hasn’t arrived on time, kindly reach out to the Meds for Less either via the contact form on our website or directly to [email protected] so we can investigate. On rare occasions orders can be lost or misplaced at points in the delivery chain. For items shipped by Special Delivery 9am or 1pm, items are considered lost after 5 days. For any other shipping service, items are considered lost after 10 days.  If you’ve purchased Meds for Less shipping insurance with your order Meds for Less will replace them item free-of-charge

Medications are not standard consumer goods. Once items have left the pharmacy premises, we cannot reuse or resell the item.
Unless you’ve purchased shipping insurance with your order, we will not be able to refund or compensate you.

Payments and Refunds

Which Payment Methods Do You Accept?
We accept payment Visa, Mastercard and direct bank transfer.
There are several reasons why a payment may fail. These include (but are not limited to): 
  • Insufficient funds
  • Failed 2 factor authentication
  • Transaction flagged by bank<
If you’re struggling to make a card payment, we accept payment by direct bank transfer. 
Refunds can take between 3-5 working days to complete. If your refund has not arrived after 5 days, please reach out via [email protected] or through the contact form on our website.
“Meds for Less” will show on your bank statement,

Placing An Order

Do I Need A Prescription When Placing An Order?
No, during the checkout process you will complete a consultation. We will ask you information about your condition, health status and medical history. Our GMC registered doctors will review and (if appropriate) approve your order and issue you with a private prescription.
The information you provide will be looked over and assessed for suitability by GMC registered doctors and GPhC registered pharmacists.
GMC registered doctors and GPhC registered pharmacists review information you input during your Meds for Less consultation. Both doctors and pharmacists retain the right to veto your order, if they feel it is clinically unsuitable. If your order has been rejected by either doctor or pharmacist, you will receive a full refund.

As responsible healthcare provider, we monitor orders placed through our website and assume usage based on dosage instruction.
If you place multiple orders in quick succession or order medicines in a quantity that would be deemed clinically unsafe, or order medications which may interact with one another, it will be spotted by our system, and your order will be placed in retention.
Retention is a period of delay before shipment to ensure medications are not oversupplied.

Orders placed before 16:00 are reviewed (and if approved) shipped, the same day.
Medications are not standard consumer goods, for some items we need to verify your identity before we are able to process your order. Identity checks are facilitated by a reliable third-party party; Idenfy. Completing ID checks is simple – we’ll require a copy of your licence or passport and a quick selfie.

How Does Your Service Work?
We’ve partnered with GMC registered doctors and GPhC to provide you a safe, convenient way to access over-the-counter and prescription items to support your healthcare needs.  Over-The-Counter (OTC) and General Sales List (GSL) Items
  • Order placed at Meds for Less
  • Order sent to GPhC registered pharmacy for final checks and dispatch
Prescription-Only Items
  • Order placed at Meds for Less – Online consultation completed during checkout process.
  • Consultation information sent to GMC registered doctor to review and either approve, (and write a private prescription) or veto.
  • If approved, the private prescription is sent to one of our GPhC registered pharmacy partners for final checks and dispatch.
  • If vetoed, the Meds for Less team will refund your order in full.
The information you provide will be looked over and assessed for suitability by GMC registered doctors and GPhC registered pharmacists.
