Compeed Cold Sore Discreet Healing Patch

The compeed Cold Sore Discreet Healing patch supports the body’s natural healing process using advanced hydrocolloid gel technology. This technology creates an optimal, germ-free environment that helps prevent scab formation and the spread of the cold sore. The patch is discreet and acts as a virus shield, reducing the risk of contamination and preventing the cold sore from worsening. It stays in place for up to 12 hours.

Before and after use, wash your hands and ensure your skin is clean and dry. Avoid applying any cream on the lip, as the patch may not stick. Tear off one product along the perforated edge, taking care not to press down on the protective teal cover. Hold the clear paper applicator at the curved edge, and using both hands, peel off the clear paper applicator from the teal cover, exposing the round cold sore patch on the upper part. Avoid touching the adhesive side of the patch. Apply the patch to the cold sore using a mirror, gently pressing it in place. Then, peel back the applicator, leaving the Compeed Cold Sore Patch in place. Makeup or lipstick can be applied over the patch.

Why not also try Zovirax Cream

Compeed cold sore patches should be worn continuously, 24 hours a day, until the sore is fully healed. Avoid removing the patch to let the sore ‘breathe,’ as this can actually slow down the healing process.

While you can’t entirely prevent cold sore outbreaks, there are ways to minimise their spread and reduce their frequency. Always wash your hands before and after touching a cold sore lesion. Avoid kissing, and sharing drinks or lip products until the sore has healed. If you know your cold sore triggers, try to minimise exposure to them; for example, use lip balms with SPF if extreme weather triggers your outbreaks. Although it’s impossible to avoid infection or completely prevent future outbreaks, these measures can help manage the condition.
